Welcome to the Between Weathers new cast members!
So here they are. the final auditionees who made it into the movie. Mia Boast, Alec Westwood and Natalia Szyling, Anita Gailey, Ruth O’Brien, Yasmin Zemmoura and Greig Easton from the Aberdeen auditions, Alan Peacock, Lauren Lamarr and Margaret Mary Mackenzie from Perth and Christy Marshall, Donna Grant, John Duncanson(not pictured), Kerry Kennedy and Heather Masterson from Inverness have all secured parts in the feature film Between Weathers.
Director Jim Brown thinks he has uncovered some potential stars; “Out of the hundreds that turned up for the open castings I think I have found a very special group of people. Although many of them have never acted before I predict that one or two could make it big. Hollywood casting legend Eddie Foy III always told me it was all about first impressions, ‘If they look right, they are right, we can teach them to act’. Having discovered Robert De Niro, and Dustin Hoffman I guess he knows what he is talking about.
Over 1000 came to see us and 15 had that extra something, they shone, they wanted it. I am so excited about working with them and blending them into our stellar cast.”
Sharleen Spiteri, who is set to star in her first ever major movie role was among the first to congratulate the new cast members; “I’m delighted Jim Brown has uncovered some potential new stars from across Scotland. I know what it’s like getting your first step on the ladder to success. I’m looking forward to working with them on the set of Between Weathers next year.”
